Today I'm going to be talking about all things money. I often am sharing wisdom and stories and experiences from my own journey or shared experiences with clients and what I've witnessed them go through. That's really where I like to work from and guide people from is my expertise, is as well as lived experiences.
So, I also want to start this episode out with the caveat of, I am not a money expert. I am not a accountant. I am not a financial advisor.
This is really doing some storytelling and weaving around a topic. That's just so taboo for us in this society, especially if we fall into particular categories, you know, being a woman and all of that, it just felt so taboo always, you know, it wasn't even until the seventies or eighties, and I don't know the exact number off the top of my head where we were allowed to get our own credit cards.
That's wild. That's in my lifetime, it's edgy for me to talk about this, but it's been coming a lot in, up in conversations, both with clients and with people considering on becoming clients and it's also been coming up a lot for me recently as I go through some really big expansion in business.
So I am going to do a little bit of some sharing around some old money stories and how money stories impact our lives I am going to talk about the first big stretch I had to make around money and mindset and I thought I was good after that, and then realized that there was still another big stretch.
Now seeing that, there's probably going to be some more big stretches I have to make around money. But I am going to be really, really edgy, and start this episode off by saying that my business for the first time ever has surpassed six figures in a in a fiscal year. I have built a six figure business and for those of you listening who are, struggling and scared and overwhelmed and just don't see that for yourselves, I want you to know that I was there to not too long ago and I built a six figure business.
I want you to borrow my evidence and growing. I'm on my way to building a multi six figure business and there's some things around that, that I feel really strongly with. But I also don't want to take away from the fact that I did that and it is possible. You know, I am a big, big believer in my core values of, you know, paying back and hiring people, that my business then supports and all those things. And even if I didn't believe all those things, I would still get to celebrate the fact that I built a six figure business...
