How Ade Tripled Her Preschool Enrollment—By Slowing Down

Last summer, Ade was in the middle of building something beautiful.

She was opening a nature-based preschool. Designing and constructing an off-grid classroom. Creating space for children to play and thrive in the woods. She poured her whole self into a vision that mattered.

And still, beneath all the good and meaningful work, was the constant, nagging feeling: "It wasn't enough."

She shared:

"I was opening a brand new nature-based preschool, building an off-grid classroom, and creating opportunities for my community... and still feeling like it wasn't enough."

Maybe you know that feeling. When the to-do list is endless, and you never feel caught up.When the mission is clear, but your body is exhausted. When you’ve built the thing, but your nervous system hasn’t caught up.

Ade’s presence on the outside looked calm, but inside, she was pushing herself harder and harder. The pressure to prove her worth. To serve everyone else. To keep going.

She told me:

"I had put my business before myself for so long, I forgot who I was. I knew there was a version of me I hadn’t met yet, but I needed help finding her."

That’s when she joined Permission to Be.

What changed?

Inside the program, Ade didn’t learn new tactics. She didn’t get a content calendar or a more efficient marketing funnel.

She got herself back.

We focused on learning and prioritizing her needs. On boundaries. On joy.She began leading from alignment, not anxiety. She gave herself permission to slow down without guilt. She found clarity, and calm, in her vision again.

"Permission to Be created space for me to think clearly again. To come back to my purpose. To hold myself in the hard moments instead of spiraling."

And from that place of wholeness, something amazing happened:

Her enrollment tripled in the year that followed.

Not because she worked more hours. Not because she chased growth at all costs.

But because she was rooted in her own presence and power.

The truth is: growth doesn’t have to feel like survival.

We’ve been taught that hustle is the price of success. But what if joy is actually the fuel? What if slowing down helps you expand faster because you’re no longer leaking energy everywhere?

Ade’s story is one example of what happens when women reclaim themselves as leaders.

And if you're feeling the pull to do the same, to get out of survival mode, to reconnect to your why, and to lead from a grounded place… you’re invited.

Permission to Be is open now.
